This quiet restaurant and takeaway offers a well-priced, diverse menu, excellent service and a pleasant, upmarket atmosphere. Inside, plush, dark red leather chairs and fuchsia tablecloths add a classy, romantic feel, and spotless white walls brighten the place up a little, preventing it from feeling too dark and dingy. The restaurant is unlicensed, meaning you're free to save some cash by taking along your own drinks and the table waiting service is second to none; fast, friendly but never annoying or intrusive.

On my visit, I sampled a Chicken Korma with some cheese and onion naan bread, both of which were beyond satisfactory. The atmosphere, service and food here are all very impressive, and I'd definitely visit again.

    SLOW!!!
Yes, the food's always tasty here but an hour's wait for it is just not worth it. Even less so when it's clear that the kitchen are prioritising the constant stream of people coming in to pick up their takeaways.
Asked for a jug of water- it never came.
Love the food. Hated the wait!

Bring your own drinks! I love places like this, you know that you're going to get a great curry when they have a sign like that hanging in the window. This place is beautifully decorated and has a friendly staff. Extremely popular too, I'm here on a Tuesday evening, not the busiest of times for many restaurants but the place is buzzing. I'm surrounded by mainly family tables and I notice the waiting staff interact with customers as though they too are members of the family. The food is Indian and Bangladeshi. I have a main course only, Chicken Shashlik, large pieces of beautifully tender chicken cooked in a spicy sauce, served with a crisp salad and mint yogurt sauce. It was delicious.
